From the 20th century onward, the society functioned not only as a focal point for Scotland"s eminent scientists but also the arts and humanities. In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally smart, though all three volumes have some minor wear to the head and tail of the spine, and are sunned to the spine and extremities of the boards; Vol III in particular is heavily sunned to the front board. Internally, the bindings are slightly strained in places. Pages are bright and clean, with just some offsetting and spotting to the first and last pages of all three volumes. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
